Join us to celebrates the release of a new album of original music, You Can't Stand Still, on Phenotypic Recordings. The album was recorded with Alexander Hawkins and Louis Moholo-Moholo, but this show will present the music with a new group of world class musicians.
This will be a rare alignment of stars, joining together four musicians from different geographic and stylistic corners of the jazz universe: from New York, the legendary drummer William Hooker, one of the iconic free jazz drummers of the last 50 years; from Los Angeles, powerhouse bassist Eric Revis, longtime member of the Branford Marsalis quartet, whose bandleading efforts push the boundaries of jazz; from Paris, the dynamic pianist/composer Richard Sears, who creates idiosyncratic and harmonically rich worlds of sound.
Don't miss what will be a powerful and exciting sonic exploration. The show will be recorded as well, so you can be part of an immortalized audience!
